12177dicerolls

I know this blog is dead, but I thought I’d share this anyway. So yes, I collected 999 gold and silver dice in warehouse and 99 gold and silver dice in rucksack plus having 99 dice rolls – in the Japanese server of course. It totals 12177 dice rolls.

Now I don’t know if I should get a pet or not.

MyPage   Leave a comment

Hello, this is Lilli.

mypage

What is MyPage?

It’s another service aside from Puppet Guardian and Magical Rooms.

Simply speaking, you’re able to log in this application that serves as an account management page, connecting the character with the other games. It also has a possibility for you to get items to use in the other games!

It’s not really a game, but you can manage your puppet’s inventory menu, including synthesizing items and using the magic bag.

I mentioned that you can bring items from MyPage to the other games. Yes, that’s true, but first, let’s see how it looks:

MyPage looks simple, and it also is.

MyPage is quite simple, there are three windows to interact with, plus the second button on top left.

In the first window there’s the title of the user, right below it is the name of the user. Then there’s the character, and a …turtle? What is it doing there?

Clicking on your character will bring up the Items window, allowing you to change equipment, or synthesize items from what you have in your Rucksack. It doesn’t have the Warehouse Guild as of now, though.

Giant Turtle

The turtle isn’t there just for show! Every once in 8 hours, you can feed it by clicking on a button above it when it appears once in a while, when it’s there it means you can feed the turtle. As you click on it you can watch how the turtle eats a cabbage! It’s a really cute animation. Here’s a picture of it:

<3 <3 <3!

❤ ❤ <3!

It’s stomach grows in level the more you feed it. Then also, a green bag appears once in a while, allowing you to take an item which either ends up in your item window or the Magic Bag. The turtle gives you different items the more it grows, and while it begins by giving you Stone in the beginning, you can expect even rare items such as Silver Liquor, Gold, Blizzard Scroll, Desynthesis Stone or Star Dice among many others on higher levels.

How it works? On each level, there is one item added, for example, on the first level, you only can get Stone, but on the second level, you can get Blue Herbs too, but it adds the new item as a chance, so you will get either a Stone or Blue Herb, depending on luck. on the third level, you can get a Lizard Tail which then adds as a chance to get either Stone, Blue Herb or Lizard Tail, 40 levels, for example, means a chance to get one of 40 items. Hmm, I’m really wondering what would very high levels give, considering level 29 generously gives a Blizzard Scroll, I bet you’re all thinking it should give gems… Haha. Maybe on Lv 1000+?

The formula for the levels is very simple, it begins at 2 required feeding times (you could call it exp), and each level adds one required feeding time, so, for example, on level 20, you need to feed the turtle 21 times.

It’s a really nice and fun mini game there, and I love that you can get bonus items from it just by visiting and simply feeding a turtle and clicking on a green bag.

My Herbs

Then there is a pot with a label “My Herbs”. In this pot, blue herbs grow over time with several growth stages, In some days or so, sparkles appear on the fully grown ones and you can pick them up, giving you some bonus blue herbs. That’s really cool!

Registered Services

The third window shows icons of the services you are registered in. You can click them to go to the login pages of them, allowing quick access right from MyPage. If you aren’t playing some of the games by a chance, they won’t appear.

Private Page

That’s what is the second button in the top left row, プライベートページ. Literally meaning Private Page translated from katakana. This one takes some time to load. What does it do?

A picture from the Artifact Development Blog

A picture from the Artifact Development Blog

It shows you the history of your Gold Coin changes, including everything that changes your amount of G, be it buying, selling something on the Merchant Guild, Buying a new room in MR, reviving squires, opening chests, renewing warehouse, pets, haircuts, buying furniture or even purchasing Gold Coins.

The first column tells you the exact time and date of the change, the second tells you the type of the change (trading on MG, opening chest, buying furniture, purchasing pet etc…). The third is obviously the item’s picture or an icon of the service you used. If the change was trading an item or opening a chest, the fourth column also tells it’s name.

Then there are three last columns, the first telling you the increase of G, the second telling you the decrease of G, and finally, the last column tells you how much Gold Coins you had at the time the change happened as a summary.

For now, the gold coin history was said to have no limit, although the Japanese version staff said it will most likely change.

MyPage in the International version

I strongly hope there will be an English release for it. It looks simple enough for it to happen. The turtle is so much fun and it’s really nice to get lucky items from it, and the gold coin history is very useful as well. Of course, free blue herbs are also nice to get. When I asked Zorba about MyPage for the International version, he said “Maybe”.

All current lobbies opened. Open or not series will continue eventually.   Leave a comment

Hello, this is Lilli.

I’ll have you know that I have all of the current lobbies unlocked, it’s some time ago, but it is relevant to my old series of lobby reviews.

Shamelessly using my bragging rights.

Shamelessly using my bragging rights.

So, if you are not sure whether you should unlock a sealed lobby or not, you can just wait for the appropriate lobby post to appear. I might also make a page for it later on, with links to the specific posts.

Music (PG+MR) Page   Leave a comment

Hello, this is Lilli.

Some days ago, I added the “Music (PG+MR)” Page, you can access it by clicking it in the menu.

(Ignore the Quests for now, I’ll get to that sometime later.)

Right. so in the music page you can look at the music that was used in the games, and their accurate names, with the last names of the authors.

I’ll update it as I know more of them for sure! Keep checking often if you find it helpful.

For now, let’s hear the music of the places we didn’t have yet? You can search by these names:

Stage 19 – Bruckner – Symphony 8, 4th movement

This one is quite breathtaking! It gives a new feeling never heard before in a dice game stage!

Stage 20 – Ravel – Jeax D’eau

Who would expect this in the Fourth level of the Cave of Trials…? Don’t let the music deceive you into believing the fourth level is a “nice” place.

Stage 21 – Mozart – Piano Concerto 23, 2nd movement

This one is great! It matches the settings perfectly, It’s really good to know the ones at COLD BREATH are picking music inspirations so well.

Unfortunately, I don’t know the names of the ones after this, but as I said, I’ll update when I do know.

It’s time to end this post or Silli (my gehenna pet) begins to peck my leaves from listening too much Stage 20 music.

Windlightnaturearth Magic   Leave a comment

Hello, this is Lilli.

Pardon me for the absurd title. To get started:

This old rusted model probably needs more RAM to handle this.

This old rusted model probably needs more RAM to handle this.

As you might know from Morias, the tornado spell is Nature (now Earth, I guess?) magic. Yes, the Iron Golems are weak to Nature and Water elements, this wind spell is Nature, so it does one half more of what it would normally do, that is, against these golems.

Okay, so now we know that wind is Nature(Earth..?)

Right? …. Right?

No.

Say, how am I able to block that wind with that shield?

Say, how am I able to block that wind with that shield? Real Magic? Also I don’t think the gryphon wants to play with you Silli.

Answer: The Gryphon is just too cool, so his wind is icy.  It’s Light attribute wind.

Light? Now it gets a little complicated. So the wind does Nature damage when you use it, but monsters do Light damage wind? Not true either, but, just to add:

Thanks a lot genie for that sand in my boots.

Thanks a lot genie for the sand in my boots.

I get damaged by this wind attack because I tried protecting myself with a Triple Nighthawk Necklace. It did nothing. This Wind isn’t Nature.

Still, I got sand in my boots.

Apparently the Genie is too cool for this desert as well. Plus, I still have sand in my boots.

Using a Triple White Owl Necklace worked. Conclusion, this wind is Light as well.

Now, let’s see this:

Just taking a walk in your beautiful garden. Nice to meet you too. Thanks.

Just taking a walk in your beautiful garden.  Nice to meet you too. Thanks.

Using both Necklaces here heals me, so their Nature protections stack, the Harpies’ Wind is Nature.

And this…

I don't think that will make you any cooler than now. Mr. Gryphon

You really came all the way to my room for this?

…Is the same case.

So Golden Gryphon in the Golden Jungle is Light element, while the gryphons in MR are Nature element?

What is interesting even more, than even sound is Nature element!

I see. Music really heals!

I see. Music really heals. Literally!

or shock waves.

It's OK. I can hear you sonny. I am still young you know.

It’s OK. I can hear you sonny. I am still young you know.

Right, also sleep pollen:

Your name is so long I fell asleep while you were telling me.

Your name is so long I fell asleep while you were introducing yourself.

In Puppet Guardian, the Dragon Butterflies and Tussock Moths also have the natural attacks combined with sleep effect.

There are some more cases. For example, the Pegasus pet (and perhaps the Pegasus in the Magical City) has Light element wind. Compare to Gryphon pet. Both of them would use their wind attack against Fenrir or Garm, but only Pegasus’ attack is cooler able to damage with its Light attribute.

Also:

Even more sand in my boots. Not cool.

Even more sand in my boots. Not cool.

Seeing as how my two necklaces failed to heal me, the Mono-Pegasus wind attack is Light element as well.

It’s confusing, right? We have not much of a way of telling if wind is either Light or Nature/Earth. Though there are more uses for it with Nature than Light, it still seems confusing, I mean you see Gryphon which does Natural wind in a room with a Mono-Pegasus which does Light element wind, both count as completely different elements.

Anything to add? White Owl Necklace FTW.

Thanks for reading this, if you have any comment to share, please do so. With regards, Lilli.

Nature is now Earth…?   Leave a comment

Long time no see.

Some time ago, the Nature element (自然)  or some instances of 2 character word Earth (大地) was changed to Earth/Ground (地)

Which means that necklaces, bracelets, armlets, and pretty much anything element related that has “Nature” will be changed to “Earth”.

Here’s a back card of my High Venom Mace in the Japanese version:

venommace

You see, that what is 地属性 – Earth Attribute/Element used to be 自然属性 – Nature Attribute/Element.

One idea why this change happened is that 自然 Nature takes two characters, while 地 Earth takes only one. Making the Earth fit better.

大地 Earth in the description is an old thing, it seems that the venom weapons are described as “The magic power of Earth dwells in this (weapon)” which means that there were two words to describe the element.

The Howling Mountain also says “Earth”(地):

hm

It was like this for a long time, and the message in the English version uses the word “Earth” as well.

I guess this change from Nature to Earth unites the element a bit more, making the idea more simple and less confusing.

…Though, it still isn’t fully clear which element is supposed to control “Wind” …

Dice Game Stage 18 – “Cave of Starlight” Unlocked in the Japanese Pupper Guardian!   Leave a comment

Hello puppets, this is Lilli.

I know I did not post here for ages, but today, I received a shock.

When I saw that Stage 18 is out, I went to see it.

What I saw was something I didn’t see in Puppet Guardian yet, something completely breath taking. That said “something” is the new stage, the Cave of Starlight, which you can access on 15th field of Cave of Trials Third Level (Dice Game Stage 17).

The stage needed frozen crab scissors to make, these scissors are obtainable from a crab, called Reitou gazami, which roughly means “Frozen Blue Crab”

Gazami: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portunus_trituberculatus

When I entered the entrance, I was, as I say again, shocked!

See the map:

The map is simply awesome…. -faints-

The map is something you can’t see anywhere in PG.

I was thinking something like this would appear, but in very white way, such as the “Passage to the Cave of Trials”. I didn’t expect blue-ish starlight stage, this is really nice.

The starting field was the first dazzle into my eyes.

And here goes…..

The boss! It glows so intensely!

Also, you can get Silver in this stage, and a LOT of Crystals is there, I really love this place, it’s so perfectly blue-ish, and a good mix of Light and Dark.

With this, a new chest appears.

Chest of Stars / Star Chest / Treasure Chest of the Stars, whatever it will be called

Contains….

Orb of Stars / Star Orb /…

Seems It will use a diamond.

1. Diamond + Zoisite Bracelet  Ring :   Seems it will protect from two abnormal states, Fear?  and “Vertigo”

2. Diamond + Tourmaline Bangle : Gives you chance to do Light+Thunder elemental critical hits.

3. Light + Dark Shield : Protects from Light and Dark attacks when blocking:

4. A lamp which can tame the Salamander, or make the Orb of Stars with an item the boss drops, or make:

Salamander Scroll, then Salamander Book. Assuming it will use 3 Rubies.

And not to forget:

Lightning Talon.

There is also an item you can make somehow, it can be upgraded from regular to paragon, it’s the craziest Great Sword i’ve ever seen…

… With that, there are also two special stage weapons. But, I will post about them later.

Regards,

Lilli.

Requiem Event   Leave a comment

Hello puppet guardians!

Some time ago, there was an event in the Japanese Puppet Guardian, called as Requiem Event. I am going to tell you a bit about it.

It is located in the Garden of Sleep, and the event is pretty much about one special hostile NPC, Valkyrie.

In Norse mythology, a valkyrie (from Old Norse valkyrja “chooser of the slain”) is one of a host of female figures who decides who dies in battle.                 ~ Wikipedia.

Valkyrie randomly appears on one field in the Garden of Sleep, when slain, she appears on another, and the items she has are the same style as Unicorn Wraith, you can get 3 possible items from her; Valkyrie Hair, Hoof of Pegasus, Wings of Pegasus.

Pegasus items originally come from Lv.145 Pegasus in Magical Rooms Lost Mythos.

An image from the official Japanese blog.

The Valkyrie’s Hair can make an item called “Cleansing Scroll”, 10 of these Scrolls combined with a Diamond make the Cleansing Book.

Cleansing Scroll and Book

The scroll/book has a magic which does beatiful light animation with sparkles flying down, doing 5 damage several times. But, the event purpose of this magic is, that anytime you kill an unholy ghost with it, the corpse becomes purified, in other words, “Cleansed”, Cleanse is a new status effect which seems to only exist when the enemy is dead(Information unconfirmed.) It has the animation of Holy Water anti-stone effect.

The hair can also make Requiem Sword, and Valkyrie Shield, the Sword has a 10% chance to do the Cleanse effect, it is strong as a regular sword. the shield acts as a “cursed shield” with 5 damage when you block with it, perhaps, it also inflicts the cleanse effect when you backfire damage, just as Aegis Shield can stone the ones who hit it. They need the Hooves and Wings, also.

The purpose of the Cleanse is, that Wraiths in T8 and Dwarf Ghosts in T12 drop special item when they are defeated with the effect.

Wraiths have an item called…uhh quite unsure about translation.. Cloth of Sacred Warfare.

This Cloth can make the set items the Valkyrie has, including all armor parts. They also need the Hooves and Wings.

And Dwarf Ghosts drop an item called Heavy Ore when cleansed.

With 10 of these, you can make a Great Sword.

Great Swords from the official JP blog.

The special attack of a normal Great Sword.

That’s all about it, see you on next post!

Cheers!
